Robin Williams dead
Williams’ body was found on August 11 at his house in California. According to preliminary information, the actor committed suicide. At the same time his manager revealed that in recent years Williams was suffering from severe depression, but did not confirm the fact of the suicide.
Robin Williams was born in Chicago in 1951. In 1977, he made his film debut, and ten years later he was nominated for “Oscar” for the main role in the movie “Good Morning, Vietnam.”
Williams received another two nominations for “Oscar” for his roles in the movies “Dead Poets Society” and “The Fisher King”, but he finally received the statue only in 1998. Williams was recognized as the best supporting actor for his role in the movie “Good Will Hunting.”
His whole filmography includes more than 50 movies, including “Mrs. Doubtfire”, “Jumanji”, “Bicentennial Man” and “What Dreams May Come.” His last work was a role in the movie “Night at the Museum: The secret of the tomb,” which comes out in theaters in December.
