This is stated in the reports by Rosstat.
Annual inflation rate exceeds the plan of Ministry of Economic Development for 2015 and the key rate of the Central Bank, which was reduced in late January to 15 percent.
According to Rosstat, from February 3 to 9 of 2015 consumer prices in Russia increased by 0.6 percent. In the first nine days of February – by 0.9 percent. From February 3 to 9 vegetable prices on average rose by 1.5 percent, while prices on carrots and onions – by 3.1 percent. Also increased: the price of rice – by 2.3 percent, frozen fish – by 1, 9 percent and sunflower oil – by 1.5 percent.
Earlier Rosstat published the data according to which January inflation has been the highest over the past 16 years. It reached 3.9 percent.
On February 9, the Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev predicted that in March inflation will peak at 15-17 percent. According to the minister, in the coming months it will decline. According to the updated forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development, inflation in 2015 will reach 12 percent.
Earlier FAS reported that the number of registered complaints about high prices have reached a record number. Just in one week the antitrust agency has recorded 1,007 reports of rising product prices.
