Prosecutors came to stores. They are interested to find out why food prices are rising so fast. Ignoring the laws of the market, “the people in blue” for the second time in six months are trying to slow down the “unreasonable” acceleration of the inflation. But they won’t be able to punish supermarkets for expensive products – the trade law does not restrict prices of goods. There is a solution though: to change the law and introduce state regulation of prices. Recently, the authorities have been considering it more and more. But on the other side of the scale we may create product deficit.
