As it became known on Wednesday at least 54 flights got cancelled in Japan. This happened due to the closure of the runway at the Hiroshima Airport, where on Tuesday a passenger plane of the company Asiana Airlines made an emergency landing, reported TASS referring to representatives of the airport. Due to the cancellation of many flights about 5,000 people could not fly out of the airport. The exact date of re-opening of the airport runway was not announced.

As previously reported, last Tuesday, at the Hiroshima airport a passenger plane was forced to make an emergency landing. As a result of the incident, 24 passengers got injured; all of them suffered minor injuries. The Ministry of Transport of Japan is currently investigating the causes and circumstances of the accident.
