A midfielder of team Portugal and Turkey’s “Beshiktash,” Manuel Fernandez will soon join Moscow “Locomotive.” The contract of the 28-year-old player with the club from Istanbul expires in a month, so the “railroad” camp will welcome the midfielder as a free agent, as reported by the Turkish paper Haberler.
According to the source, the parties have already agreed to sign a contract for three years, according to which Fernandez will earn around 12 million euros.
“Locomotive” has tried several times to acquire Fernandez, however, until now the leadership of the “railroad” team could not agree with the club about his transfer.
Manuel Fernandez has played 112 matches for the “Beshiktash” and scored 20 goals in them.
Also, last week “Locomotive” officially announced the acquisition of the Russian midfielder Alan Kasayev.
