Citizens of Croatia and Hungary, Mario Tadic and Elod Toaso, who both have Bolivian citizenship, were sentenced for an attempted armed rebellion against the state. They were also accused of complicity in unleashing of separatists’ actions in 2009 and the preparation of the assassination of Morales.
Evo Morales was re-elected as the President of Bolivia after the elections held on October 12, 2014. More than 61 percent of voters cast their votes in support of the Bolivian leader. Thus, Morales became the first person in the history of Bolivia to be re-elected for a third term.
